Project overview:
Large predominantly student mixed-use development in Durham, including 445 student beds, retail space, a cinema, and a gym. The existing buildings were demolished currently on the 18-29 Claypath site, which were described as "under-used", and to be replaced with new purpose-built student accommodation, a retail unit of approx. 4,500 sq ft, and associated communal, management, and ancillary facilities, including a gym and a small cinema. The accommodation will comprise 445 beds, 135 of which will be incorporated into 24 student cluster flats, with the remaining 310 being marketed as individual studio flats.
