This project was a new build housing scheme in Gateshead with intelligent heating and lighting controls. We installed the electrical services to 25 properties as part of the development, Gateshead Innovation Village, on behalf of Engie for Home Group.
Within the scheme were various heating types with different controls, which had never been used together before and provided a challenge for ourselves onsite and the design team. Various low energy technologies were incorporated in different plots, including Wondrwall Smart lighting, and heating controls and ELE (Extreme low Energy) lighting and power. Solar panels were installed on some plots to feed the houses' hot water and heating systems.
