Whitburn Towers/Croftside is a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments in the Village of Whitburn on the outskirts of Sunderland.
We provided the electrical design and installation to 32 apartments and an annexe building, consisting of 4 apartments for rent by South Tyneside Housing Ventures and a separate communal hub for use by the residents.
Works included the provision of a fire alarm, disabled refuge system and sprinkler UPS system, CCTV throughout the internal and external of the building, 5 electric vehicle charging points, and a door entry / intercom system linked back to South Tyneside’s Concierge system. The development for the over 55s is on the site of the former sheltered housing.
