Project overview:
This project was the restoration of this beautiful historic Theatre in Darlington, which dates back to 1907. Improvements included increasing the seating capacity, adding decorative lights, lighting in backstage facilities, a new restaurant area, and a grander entrance. The project also included transforming a neighbouring former fire station into a children’s theatre called The Hullaballoon, bringing this grade 11 listed building back to its former glory.
