Fred Hood (Managing Director) meets SAFC Boss Gus Poyet just ahead of sponsoring the Grand in your hand which is SAFC Foundation’s matchday lottery which gives fans the chance to leave the Stadium of Light with a cheque for £1,000.
Tickets, available from licensed sellers on all concourses and in hospitality areas, cost just £1 with one lucky ticket drawn at half time for a £1,000 prize.
McNally and Thompson have worked with the charity for a number of years as Corporate Members and regular supporters at Foundation events.
As part of the sponsorship representatives from McNally and Thompson will draw the winning ticket at half time of this Sunday’s (24th August) tilt with Man United, which kicks off at 4pm.
All proceeds from the lottery go towards funding education, sport, health and community programmes across the North East. The charity, part of Sunderland Association Football Club, helps more than 42,000 young people and their families every year via a wide range of education, sports, health and community engagement programmes running across the North East.
