Very close to the City Centre, this Extra Care scheme offers 21 x 2-bedroom bungalows and an accommodation block of 41 apartments for people aged 55 and over. It has communal facilities consisting of a residents' lounge, laundry, as well as a very busy internet café and hairdressing salon which are open to the public.
McNally and Thompson were employed to lead the Electrical design, working with the main contractor and the Fabrick group to develop lighting and power schemes, fire alarm systems, ntegrating into smoke extract AOV systems, data, and warden call systems.
