Greyfriars Extra Care is at Lile Close, in the centre of Richmond. The scheme provides 39 two-bedroom apartments for older people, and has a range of communal facilities including a communal lounge, a restaurant, a hairdresser's shop & landscaped gardens on a split-level site.
McNally and Thompson were employed to lead the electrical design of general lighting and power, emergency lighting, warden call systems, fire alarms, and data. Working in partnership with FHM and H21, we developed an understanding of what the client wanted from a series of early design team meetings. Using our considerable experience in Extra Care, we added value through our supply chain agreements with long standing experts in their field, especially for fire alarms and warden call systems.
